What did the Boys do in D.C.?

Well, these two boys were perfectly happy with large areas where they could just run around. Give them some grass, or dirt, and some sticks and they are happy as can be. On Friday, we split up. Mom, Brittany and Brayden went to Six Flags and we enjoyed ourselves walking around D.C. and enjoying Troy and Liam.

Ben got Troy to write letters in the dirt. I guess that can count as our school for this week.

Later in the afternoon we ran into this beautiful area downtown where there is just a large flat area of concrete. (Oh, and did you know the curbs are granite in D.C.!)

Troy was very excited to be reunited with the family. Troy has become quite attached to family members, which is very opposite from his attitude in the last year. It was SO fun to go as a whole family.

I don't remember which day, but Ben and I got to go on a date by ourselves one night. We walked around the monuments, got some donuts, and enjoyed being alone. Ben and I always have so much fun and great conversation. This huge park was hidden and we were totally alone. It was neat to walk around and be in such a beautiful place.
