Liam is a happy camper in the morning. Well, after he has had breakfast of course. I usually have oatmeal waiting for him. This kid LOVES to eat. This is our scripture time/ book time. I need to be more consistent though.
After breakfast is baths, get dressed, make bed, prayers, brush teeth, go potty and then sit on moms bed and watch a show while mom gets ready.
Once I am ready (or lack of getting ready and more of cleaning or laundry) then we go outside and play until Liam's nap.
Once Liam is napping, Troy and I have our "color" time, which is our version of school time. We draw and quiz on letters. His reward is my sad drawing of a train. Haha. Lately we have been coloring lots of airplanes because we are going to D. C. soon! Woohoo! That is a chain that we made for Troy to count down to when he gets to ride on a plane.
After coloring we usually go outside for a little bit until lunch. Troy's recent favorite toy is Puss n Boots. You can see him in his pocket.
I really enjoy our mornings right now. These boys are so happy and fun to be with. Troy is talking more and more. He just started singing a couple of weeks ago and sings two primary songs with me at bedtime. It melts my heart. We are so blessed and it's days like these that make the more stressful ones well worth it.
A few things to say:
ReplyDelete1. You all are beautiful.
2. Troy's curly hair melts my heart.
3. You all look healthy and happy, makes me happy.
4. I would give lots of money to spend just one night with you guys. You know...grab a few hot and readys, play a bit, kids to bed, root beer floats and farkle/snarf.
PERFECT!
Love you all!
