I have passed on my love of popcorn to Liam.
We had his appointment 12 days after his actual 15 month mark, so maybe that is why, but he is still much larger than Troy has ever been. It makes it harder to carry him, but I think it helps him walk. He moves around really well. But he also practices. If he has a hard time getting over a gutter, he does it over and over again until it isn't hard anymore.
Weight: 23 lbs 10 oz, 61%
Length: 32 in., 76%
Head: 48 cm, 80% (getting clothes over his head is not his favorite, nor mine)
Shoe size: 4-5
Eye Color: Hazelish Brown, we don't know yet
Hair Color: Light brown or dirty blonde. Its getting lighter and lighter.
Words: mama, dada, "nana", ball, "dat", apple, show, "shie" - we still don't know what this means, but he sounds like he is swearing all the time.
Personality: Independent, smiley and social, stubborn but not emotional - persistent. Today he got away from me 3 times at the library. Once he made it halfway to the second floor. I'm starting to understand those leash backpacks, haha.
Stage: Throwing things - especially off of his tray, banging pots and pans, loves loud noises, screams to get attention, loves dirt and getting messy, just wants to be outside all of the time and wandering off, laughing a lot and loves to be with his mommy.
Funny Memory: The Friday before memorial day, my immediate family met in Orem to visit the graves of my dad, my brother, and my grandpa. Troy and Liam immediately wanted to play with all of the flowers and spinning wheels that people had left on loved ones' graves. We got Liam to stop playing with the flowers, but we had to let him play with a spinning wheel to keep him occupied. We thought he was fine as we shared family stories. I didn't think about the holes of dirt that are in some of the graves. A space for flowers to be put in. Liam was digging up all of the dirt down into the hole and got it all over himself. I didn't know exactly what he was doing, and so my first thought was, "He is digging up a grave!" Haha, he wasn't, but man this boy keeps me busy. :)
