More Stories

Troy made a breakthrough the other morning! If you know Troy, you know that he is very attached to his father and he also cries a lot around him. Last week I took Ben to work and Liam started to whine a little when Ben got out of the car. Troy quickly comforted Liam, "It's ok baby Liam, daddys at work." WHAT? It was awesome. He still cries when Ben leaves sometimes, mainly when he hasn't had a nap. But progress!

Another cute thing is that Troy now asks me, "Mom, change my bum?" when he has pooped. I need to get pull ups for Troy, he pees really well in the potty and has even started going on his own without reminding. Progress right?

Liam has been attentive to how much we say pee and poop. He wakes up from his naps saying, "poop, poop." He actually says poop when he has pooped. I still can't tell if it's just coincidence. Or maybe he just says the word all of the time ;)

Mr. Liam is still Mr. Persistent. He saw a toy in the distance when we were outside. He walked about 20 feet, but I had to bring him back because I was babysitting and couldn't leave the front yard. He tried probably 3 more times and did it without crying and a smile on his face. Funny boy. It's hard to distract him from a goal that he has made for himself.
