19 Months and Curious

One of Troy's favorite shows is Curious George. George is very cute and curious and gets into a LOT of trouble. I like the show less and less lately because George reminds me of Liam. But, I also like seeing the patience (that never ends) from the man in the yellow hat. I am not so patient when Liam throws poopy diapers off the deck and they explode. Or takes dishes out of the dishwasher and drops them on the floor and then one breaks. Or dents the wall with the ice cream scooper. Or trys to empy the bathtub onto the bathroom floor as fast as possible, or shoves his shoes, my phone, my temple recommend under the fridge, in the couch, in the toilet, or just loses it. It's not so funny at the time, but it's a little funny later. It will be funnier when he is past this stage.

The positive note of his curiosity is his curiosity to speak! Oh, it's just the most beautiful thing that I have ever heard. This would make sense to any mom who has really struggled trying to get their toddler to tell them what they wanted but couldn't. Liam always tell me what he wants and it's awesome. Now, if he would just warn me of the naughty things he is about to do... so I can stop him...

Ready for #3!

I'm pregnant! I'm due the same time that Liam was due, February 28. I'm 16 weeks and we get to find out the gender October 10th. I'll definitely update on that once we find out. Pray for a sweet, calm personality to balance out the craziness in our home. But... I'll accept another crazy addition since we do it so well :)

My Grandpa Farnsworth Honored at BYU Game

My Grandpa Farnsworth flew jets for the Navy in WWII. Every BYU game, they honor a veteran and my Grandpa was honored at the first game! Ben and I got tickets and saw him fire the cannon in person!

You can't see very well, but my Grandpa and Uncle Brad are waiting next to the cannon to shoot it.

Highlights in Crazy Days

Troy is really into drawing lately. He usually only tries to write letters or shapes, but he has started to make little faces, trains, animals, and little boys. Aunt Sarah was SO sweet and got Troy this little watercolor set and he LOVES it. I made his bib out of a trash bag...

I hung his paintings on the fridge, and now he puts them up himself after he's done. It's so fun that he's old enough to start doing these things with some control!

Liam is NOT ready for artsy stuff. He just tries to eat the crayons, but he gets really excited about it anyway!

Daddy coming home is a HUGE highlight of our day. Troy and Liam get SO excited every single day. Ben has been extra busy with a new calling and so the boys appreciate his time even more. They make sure to beat him up and use all of the energy that he has left. Haha. Ben is so sweet to give them his all.

Liam's 1st Friend Birthday Party

Liam and I got to go to a crazy fun birthday party for Brigston Wright. If you remember a huge party a wrote about that was at the fire station, that was this same family. The older brother, Brogan, is Troy's age. I love friends that are so similar in ages as siblings! It was at Thanksgiving Point and Stasha went all out.

There were 5 kids and they each got one of these cute hats to wear. Liam wore his for about 5 seconds for this picture, and that was about it. Haha, but he loved the animals and cake!

Here is Brigston and Liam. Brigston turned 2 and was such a cutie.

Brogan is in the above picture. The whole family was decked out in cowboy clothes, belt buckles, boots, hats, vests, and Brigston even had chaps on.

The kids got to feed this little pony! 

It took Liam a while to understand that the food was NOT for him. But he really liked feeding the animals once he figured that out.

Liam was pretty shy until they got these little stuffed farm animals and told the kids to throw them through the barn holes. Liam was very happy to oblige. 

We also went and fed all of the animals in the farm outside, took a hay ride, and Liam got to have his first horse ride! He did really well, but wanted to get off after a few minutes. Haha.

It was such a blast! I havn't been with Liam alone for this long before. It was a fun little date for me with my Liam!
