I love when I walk upstairs to get something and I discover a creation by my kids working together. It's not a common occurrence, which is why it's worth documenting.
Liam adores Miles. Every day.
Liam was water coloring (we were organizing the red room and of course, the kids rediscovered all of the art supplies.) He decided to give his picture to Katelyn. Golden moment.

We went to the BYU rally. There were players and the coaches there. Ben waiting in line to see the players and I waited in line forever to get a balloon animal. After not moving in line for 45 minutes, I called it quits. The balloon artist took his work very seriously and made an amazing creation for each child, but it resulted in hardly any kids actually getting balloons. However, the cougar tails did not disappoint, the giant blow up chair was awesome and throwing footballs. Indoctrinating BYU goals in our kids minds was well worth it ;) We also got to see the Bick's there and so we went to chick-fil-a after to visit with them. Always love spending time with them!

Family night. Troy learned his first primary song. Book of Mormon Stories. He did awesome. The ending is the hardest, so he memorized it to play it in tempo.
Lots of bike riding lately. We desperately need to get a bigger bike for Troy, so that Liam can ride Troy's bike. But the kids don't complain!
We often get remarks on our clean garage. I think it's one of Ben's favorite chores.
Liam and Katelyn started bringing clothes to swim practice so that they could change after they were done. Troy practiced after them.

Katelyn learning how to spell her name. And sweet potato fries. I went through a sweet potato craze. I would still be in it, but my family is sick of them. Katelyn said she would consider eating them if they were purple. LOL.
Last day of homework!!
Troy's field day! Here he is with Ms. Stebbins. Oh my goodness, I adore her. She is funny, and loves to have fun with the kids. Perfect for 8 year olds. They love to be funny.

This is random but Blue Bell had to discontinue their cookie dough ice cream for a little while, and Ben let me know the SECOND it got back. Nicely done!
Mary Jo Peckham Park. It was hot, but we stayed for 2 hours!
Ben has been preparing the young men for Philmont. We have no mountains, so they climb parking structures. LOL.
Swimming at the Boyers. Miles first swimming experience! He wasn't in love. But by the end of summer, the water will feel more like a bath tub. I bet he will warm up to it.
