This was one of our favorite memorials because of all of the quotes by Jefferson. He talked a lot about God, educated people, and light. We got to see the "Jefferson's Bible" in one of the Museums. He was God fearing, as was all of the Founders. God is the reason, America is the way it is. He worked through these men to create freedom. A free society where we could worship, and Joseph Smith could restore the Gospel. We LOVED this trip. We feel so patriotic and more grateful to all who fought for our freedoms and to God. We visited the Arlington Cemetery on Sunday and I realized how many fought and died for that reason. The pictures are on Ben's phone, so I will have to put them on later. When you see that many graves, you can't help but pray in thanks.
