Happy Halloween!

Monday night was a crazy, fun day. We had family pictures and a family Halloween party at our clubhouse. It was my family pictures. We havn't had pictures done (other than weddings) since I was 14. And all of the weddings have someone missing. But, we are all in this one! My friend Megan took the pictures. Check her out megansphotographs.blogspot.com. I am SO excited about them. Taking pictures with two kids is not so awesome, but the results will be worth it I think.

The Halloween party was kind of crazy to hold right after the pictures, but we had a lot of fun! Liam was a trooper to last through pictures and some of the party. Devin made him "baby Mario" with his hat. Haha. I love it.

Troy reluctantly put part of his costume on. He has red pants, black shorts, spiked hair and a mask to go with his ensemble.. so just picture it ;) We wore these to our ward party that was tonight as well. Maybe we will get a better picture in Dallas!!!

Of course we had a donut eating contest.

Michael won. Poor Alan was sick and still willing to scarf down a donut. Troy was wondering why they were not using their hands, sillies.

Devin and Sarah won the costume contest. Sarah MADE that dress.

Plus, she made these babies. Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory has nothing on her.

Tyler, Ben and Maddy took a wack at the donuts. Ben had some pretty intense neck muscle going on. He won of course. No surprise there.

We had lots of food, treats, and laughs. A new tradition? We will see.

On another note, Ben and I got the new iphones! Ben's Dad and Beverly SPOILED us with an early Christmas present and we have had SO much fun with them. And we greatly appreciate the fact that we don't drop our calls every other call anymore.
I have mostly enjoyed the camera, siri, and having the internet. I took these pictures today and yesterday. My boys are getting so big!
Liam is starting to do the body wiggle on his hands and knees. He is seconds away from crawling. I love the joy this little boy brings. He has had a hard day today though, I think he is teething. I hope he is better on the plane trip!

Troy is 2 1/2. I think I will look back on this age and think, yeah, that was hard. I learned a lot. Troy is so sweet and then not. He is just very emotional. He has lots of crying periods. BUT, if he is around others, he won't. So I just need to keep him around others more. OH, and he has decided that his diaper is more of a CHOICE than a NEED. He has been taking it off. On Monday (picture day) he decided to take his diaper off, take the poop out of it and put it on his bed. He didn't like the fact that it got on his hands, so he wiped it off on his bed and his face. AWESOME. Potty training #2 will begin when we get back from Dallas. He is practically begging for it right?

To leave on a positive note. He is SO cute with Liam. He screams Liam's name and runs up to him and gives him a hug and kiss whenever he wakes up from his naps. He explains things to Liam in a high pitched voice and I love it. LOVE it.
