Dallas!

So, last weekend we had the TIME of our lives in Dallas! We were visiting our friends the Garza's and Kitchens. Our names together form KALZA reunion! They are both down there for Medical School, so cool. We landed Friday and came home on Monday.

Friday

Left at 6:30 am to get to the airport for a 9:00 flight. The boys did awesome on the plane, thanks to our new iphones and loads of snacks we had prepared. Our car rental was upgraded for free. We got to drive an Acadia, which is our current dream car. We got a little lost because our gps wasn't working so well, BUT we saw the most beautiful part of Dallas I think. I couldn't believe the beautiful streets we drove through. I would not mind living there one bit. AND everyone is so nice! Anyway, so we dropped our kids off speedy quick and took off with the Garzas to the BYU- TCU game. Melissa even made dinner for us that we ate in the car. We ran to the stadium.

The stadium was HUGE. It really was a mini-city. I can't say that I payed a lot of attention to the game because I was too excited to be sitting next to my Melissa's. Ben was excited too, but the guys were excited about the game together ;)

This picture makes me laugh so hard. Melissa had the greatest impression of the horned frog ;)

The screen went from the 25 yard line to the OTHER 25 yard line. It was HUGE. You could see their leg hairs. And the imperfections in faces... of cheerleaders that they would show for like 3 minutes at a time shaking their pom poms and staring at the camera. Awkward.

So, after the game, Ben and Brock randomly darted up the stairs. I went to see what they were doing and of course! There was a lady just throwing out money... Haha. She grinned so big while she did it.

Ben and Brock ran away with their money and counted it to see who got more. Everything is a competition with these two ;) They came away with 25 bucks together!

After the game we wandered the stadium. Anything is way more fun when you are with the Garzas and Kitchens.
