New Years in Vegas

Every year we spend New Years in Vegas and it was a blast again this year. The drive down was not so fantastic. It took us 8 1/2 hours and it was snowing all the way to St. George. C'mon, St. George! Troy was a trooper because he did not get out of his car seat the entire way down. He did watch Ice Age 4 times. Thank goodness for mom's new DVD player.

We had Christmas morning at 1 am (when we got there) and we were spoiled, a lot. Ben and I got a new bedroom set and we LOVE it. It is 100% our style and what we would have chosen. Now we will have nightstands! Yay! Troy already got his new bed but also got a few toys and balls. He played with them nonstop while we were there. We were so incredibly grateful to Dad and Bev.

We ate a lot while we were there. What's new. Beverly made so many delicious meals and we had a million snacks, dips, and treats available to us. We played tons of games, got in the hot tub (well, Bev and I didn't, but they had warmers that we sat by), went shopping, watched football or movies, and talked a lot. Here are some pictures of our trip.

Maybe it's just me, but I think our faces had swollen overnight. Maybe we ate too much salt?

Brittany and Brayden make the trip all the more fun.

We had Beverly's Eggs Benedict for breakfast. It's the most amazing meal in the world.
Ben's taking the picture and Troy is asleep, but everyone else is in the picture. Brittany, Aaron, Dad, Brayden, me, and Bev is in the kitchen.

Brittany and Dad at our New Year's Day dinner. We had the most amazing Honey Ham.

We had such a good time and can't wait to go down again. Hopefully there won't be snow on the way down next time :)
