Lucky Are We

On Friday we went up to Murray to have dinner and games with the Poulsens. They are so much fun. Rachel made these amazing Roast Beef subs and ginormous potatoes. I was reminded that Tilamook cheese is THE best cheese. My brothers used to buy it as a treat and just eat it with their friends. We also played sequence (originally introduced to us by the Mariannos) and ate Jello Jigglers. Ben is convinced we need to eat that exact meal on a regular basis now :) Later we had cinnamon rolls that we brought. Everyone knows how much I love cinnamon rolls. Then we talked forever, like we always do, and they showed us Apple TV. It's pretty cool. We loved watching all the previews.

On Saturday morning I went to a Relief Society choir practice while Ben cleaned and cleaned and cleaned some more. He was bathing Troy when I got home and there is no sweeter sound then to hear your husband and son laughing together. Ben was teaching Troy how to splash. We did some deep cleaning and then I headed out for an hour to the Shade sale. I enjoyed myself, but I missed doing it with other girls. Maybe I'll actually call someone next time..duh. In the evening Brock and Melissa came over and we played Guesstures and ate candy, of course. We also got to see them last night and we took over cookies and they had pudding. Question: Did anyone else eat as much junk as I did this weekend? We loved being with the Kitchens though. Brock dominated in Phase 10. Still working on that trip to Texas...

We are blessed to have so many great friends. And they are great examples to us. How lucky are we?
