I am grateful for good women. I have been introduced to many women that are just GOOD recently. I love talking to them, absorbing their goodness. I love hearing about how they felt the spirit, and acted on a prompting that they didn't necessarily want to do, but then saw the benefits. I love seeing strong and faithful women encouraging each other to be positive, real, loving, and virtuous. I see it in LDS women and I see it in women of other faiths. Katy is thriving with them.
I'm grateful that during one hour each Sunday I get to listen to the comments and teachings of good women. I need their faith to strengthen mine. I'm grateful for women who let me visit with them. At the park or at the mall or wherever I am. I sometimes don't want to start a conversation because I am consumed by my young children, but then I am grateful for a small connection with another person that wanted to relate to me or get to know me. Somehow, my mormon self is pretty apparent, and I've been treated with great kindness and equality.
I got to go see Cinderella with some girl friends. It was cheesy, romantic, and wonderful in my book. I know it was a children's line, but the mother of Ella tells her to have courage and be kind. I've thought a lot about being kind this week. I'm grateful to all of those women who have showed me kindness in different ways.
I'm so excited for Saturday night.
You are a GOOD woman and you inspire me (Charity :)
