We're Back!

Lake Powell vacation was last week for us. We left Monday and got home Saturday night. We had LOTS of fun. We went skiing, wake boarding, tubing, and air chairing. We each did 2 or 3 events a day. Oh, and of course bare footing for Ben. He skis on his bare feet! It's pretty crazy.

Troy and Liam did really well. Troy LOVED his vest and hat, which was a big blessing since he wore them about 16 hours a day. Liam did well in his vest, but had a harder time moving around since his vest has the huge neck pad on the back. They are both safe and healthy, which I was pretty stressed about the whole week. Liam bled a few times, but not anything huge. Troy did two things at Lake Powell. 1) Threw rocks in the water about 70% of the time, and 2) Sat in the captain chair of the boat while daddy or mommy were driving. Liam did three things - 1) Slept a lot, thank goodness  2) got dirty in the sand and mud, and 3) Sat like a stone in the boat. He didn't move if that boat was moving, it was a nice break for me :) 16 months is a hard age to be near water.

Ben played a lot of Settlers with the men and I got to hang out with Ben's cousins and aunt. Katie has a little 8 month old that just loved to look at Liam walking around. We played mafia of course and some other fun games. Lots of snacking and eating, and being hot. Lots of fun, hard work, and great chats with family.
