Fun Friday and Super Saturday

Ben joined us on Fun Friday because he has to work Saturday and Sunday this week, which is very uncommon for him. We decided to go to the Provo temple and walk around. Ben had to have a strawberry smoothie first, and of course, the boys agreed. The frozen strawberries at Costco are half of Ben's diet, haha.

We then went to the temple and played out on the grass for like two hours! We were just having so much fun. I went and got some ice cream at DQ as a break from the heat and it always tastes SO good when you're hot. We kicked a giant rubber ball around and Troy got a huge bug bite. He woke up this morning with his eye swollen half shut. I'll have to take a picture, because it's pretty sad looking. Everyone kept staring at him at Walmart today. I may need to buy some benadryl.

After the temple we came home and enjoyed the air conditioning. Troy and Liam ran around the house. We put them to bed and played some games with our friends, Kyle and Laura Clark. It was so fun, and I'm sure it is now going to be happening more often.

This morning we slept in, which doesn't happen with kids, so it was really awesome. Ben went off to work and Troy and Liam and I were invited to go to the Fun Center at Classic Skating. I've never been there, but it was only $2 for my boys and we had SO much fun!

This is only half of it, behind me there is a bunch of giant blow up toys.

Troy never stopped for me to take a picture. He had SUCH a blast. He was sweating like no other by the end.

Liam was not a huge fan at first. The bouncy places were a little scary to him, because I was not with him. But I think it's because I was postponing his nap, which I never ever do. But he had slept in, so I thought I would try it.

Troy tried to get Liam to go down the slide. Troy went down probably 20 times before I got Liam to try it.

His reaction was not positive. I couldn't help but take a picture of his face after he went down the small slide.

I finally got him to be happy by just running around with him. What a surprise.

Troy found some young boys to follow. It was really fun.

On the way home we passed Walmart and I needed to grab just a few quick things, so I was stretching my boy's patience out. But I got them a happy meal, we ate lunch before we shopped for 10 minutes, and they did surprisingly well! Troy ate the fries and apples, while Liam ate the hamburger. Someday, Troy will actually eat. They are both napping now and that is why I'm finally catching up!
