Troy's 2nd Birthday

Troy had an amazing birthday party on the 17th.
He could NOT wait for everyone to get to the house. It took everything inside of him not to touch the cake. He kept saying, "Cake? Cake?" I felt so bad when he climbed from our kitchen chair to his high-chair, squeezed in, sat nicely and asked for cake. Most everyone was running late, so we let him have some cake before everyone got there. :)

I spent a whole 10 seconds on Troy's cake. I'll do better next year bud.

Troy actually blew out his candles. Ben had to instruct him to blow several times and bring the cake pretty close to him, but he did it all by himself!

Everyone spoiled Troy to death. He has been so entertained this week. Basketball in the bathtub, treats, play-do, blocks, and his favorite bouncy ball. Not to mention the presents from Grandma and Grandpa Allsop. He got TONS of clothes at Gap, a life-vest, and a bike. We havn't opened his bike yet. Still waiting for the warmth. Ben and I got him a potty. Haha.

I wish I would have caught the excited face after he got this ball.

He played with Grandpa and Megan and Karen.

It was such a blast of an evening. Troy ate two pieces of cake and two scoops of icecream. They were all small portions, but still! Spoiled boy :)

Troy's doctors appointment was the next day. He is moving up in the world of weight. He is 25 percentile in weight (25.10 lbs), 65 percentile in height (35 1/2 inches), and 75 percentile in head circumference (50 cm.) I have a hard time getting a lot of his t-shirts over his head. Ha. I love my little Troy man!!
