Today he woke up to a decorated house that Ben did last night very late. Green and white. Troy tends to have his birthday associated with St. Patrick's day. He watched his favorite show this morning and we got Sonic for lunch. (They give free kids meals on birthdays if you join the e-mail club.) We ate our lunch at the tree house play area in the University Mall. It's one of his favorite places. Tonight we will celebrate with cake, ice cream and presents with family.
Recent fun memories of Troy:
1. Yesterday some kids from down the street came to play with Troy outside and after there were 3 girls surrounding him he opened the door and ran inside. Ha. Good boy.
2. He talks to Liam all the time and says, "No, don't!" if he starts crying. He tries to communicate for Liam. For example, he tells me to put him in his bouncer or get him from his crib. He tries to tell me many other things but we are still working on using words and not babble to communicate :) He is constantly trying to give Liam, or me, a binky. What a good big brother.
3. He organizes his grapes and still rejects partial crackers. Only the whole ones for him.
4. He loves to run and run and run some more. Especially with friends (Cohen or Noah.) But if he is by himself at home he will run from one end of the house to the other for a good 10 minutes.
5. Troy is quite the dancer. He shimmies his shoulders and head, while lifting his knees up really high and stomping. He will copy your dance moves. Brayden can get him to do the most. He will hum songs with me sometimes before bed.
6. He likes to blow kisses and wink (well, blink.) What a charmer. He will repeat I love mama, but doesn't know what it means. I still love hearing it though. I love my Troyster.
