Thanks to Jill Connelly and her book, "The Holiday Book" we celebrated Columbus Day today by doing some fun crafts. We got pretty creative with our "Santa Maria" ship. Her book also has a lot of facts that helped me learn a ton about Columbus. Troy learned how to make sails and color the sky... kind of :)

Troy holding up his picture that he spent about 10 seconds on, which is extremely long for this boy. I was very proud of his art. He colored the top half of the page blue (not the marker, but the crayon that you can't really see.)
The next two pictures are just recent pictures of Troy in the morning. This particular morning he ran from the bathtub to our room to turn on his favorite movie. He loves one movie that we have, Veggietales. It's a Christmas one and he cannot get enough of it. I actually kind of like the movie and it's message. So, I'm grateful for his choice I guess.

Like every other child Troy's age, Troy likes to try and walk in Dad's shoes. Flip flops are a toughy.
FUN! Man I need to get a holiday book. That's such a great idea.
ReplyDeleteTroy couldn't be more cute.
I JUST LOVE HIM!
Can't wait for baby number 2!
