KALZA Cruise

I can't believe our cruise has come and gone. We were planning it for so long, it felt like it would never come. It was even BETTER than imagined. Why can't we just be neighbors?! Someday.
Left to Right: Brock and Liss, Reed and Melissa, Me and Ben.

This was on our way to the ship in the shuttle. We were SO excited. I wish I had taken a picture when we picked Garza's up from the airport and we were finally all together after years!!

We did a lot of eating, playing games, and running around the ship to different shows.

I wish we would have kept track of all of the food that we consumed. Ben always enjoyed his chocolate milk.

Melissa got hit on. Two kids and she's still got it! Reed to the rescue. Haha.

We had 2 excursions. The first was paddle boarding along with snorkeling. It was SO much fun. And don't mind my super awkward walking pose.

Ben brought his phone but I think we chickened out on bringing out, even though we had a waterproof case. Brock will be our model for paddle boarding. It's fitting since he got us all to do it. We LOVED it. We started trying headstands and 360's. Some successful.. some not. Haha. We could see right down to the bottom.

Snorkeling was very cool. The fish were practically touching us all over. It actually freaked me out at first, since I've never been snorkeling. I started to hyperventilate for a minute, but after that, it was very cool!

Well... Ben decided to start a friendly competition about grabbing something in the water, and it ended up with him breaking his chin open. Luckily, we were with two doctors!

I wish they could have just stitched him up right there, but we didn't have the supplies. So, the doctor on board the ship did it. He did a great job and it's looking better already, although he still can't shave.  Poor guy.

Luckily, the second day we wanted to do an excursion to the Mayan ruins, and that involved no swimming. It was fascinating.

After the ruins, we stopped by the beach for a minute, just to soak it all in a little while longer. We went to an area to buy souvenirs, but I have a hard time making decisions under pressure. Well, there was a lot of pressure, and bartering. I'm going to have to practice. We ended up not getting anything there, but found some different shops and got Katelyn a little dress and some magnets. We brought the boys home cereal boxes. Great idea Melis. They LOVED them.

We still had one more day on the ship that we took full advantage of. It's amazing how much we did. Oh I loved every minute. Can't wait to plan for the next one!

I was that weirdo wishing you had a pic of Ben's chin right after he split it open haha. I'm assuming this cruise went to Cancun hence the Mayan ruins? Ah makes me want to go on a vacation!!
