Troy has been waiting for this day for a long time. He didn't like me waking him up (even though he's usually awake by 7.) But once we got talking about school, he brightened up.
We had a huge tender mercy because Troy's best buddy, Michael, is not only in his class, but sitting next to him. Troy was pretty shy and apprehensive until he saw his friend.
They started with play-do. Troy didn't care at all that Ben left. What a relief!
I've been thinking about him all day and what he's doing. I remember loving school, so I hope it's going well. I pick him up in an hour.
Liam cried when Troy left because he wanted to go with him. He forgot after a couple of minutes. We went to lunch with all of the women in the ward in honor of first day of school. I didn't do a lot of talking because of Liam and Katelyn, but it was fun letting them color and listening to all of the first day stories. I'm so grateful for the support of a ward!! Here we go School Year!
