18 Month Appointment

Troy is growing the same. Tall and skinny.

Weight: 22.1 lbs. 7% (I met a 4 month old that weighed the same this morning)
Height: 32 1/2 inches 60 %
Head: 48 1/2 cm 70%

He is going through a phase: I am scared of every adult. He cried the entire time at the doctor's office. He has been an angel in the past, so I can't complain. He was a little better for the doctor (he's 2 inches shorter than me.) Troy also knew exactly when we were leaving. I put on his shoes, picked up the diaper bag and he stopped crying immediately. He practically waved to the nurse as we left. Ha.

Couple of things I missed. Troy can point to his belly button. Sometimes he stands on books and puts his hands in the air, "tada." Not quite sure why. He has great balance though, he will barely get both his feet on a small book. He dances anytime there is music. Kind of a hunched up and down dance. He's usually on the beat. He climbs up onto a stool and drinks from the drinking fountain at the public library. Discovered yesterday. We went back today for Mother Goose time for 1-2 year olds. They had puppets, songs, and stories. Troy loved it. He was shy at first, as always. But when they started playing music, he got up and danced with the other kids. I hope this is good training for nursery. Hopefully Sunday will go well....

Troy has been really sick twice. Both times ended up with vomit (sorry, gross word.) But he felt so much better after. The second time was Wednesday night. He wouldn't eat ANYthing the whole day until dinner, other than water. He took three naps and had a fever. Right when I put him to bed, he puked all over his crib. What a relief. He felt better and, luckily, I can wash all that stuff.

Very happy to feed himself. He won't let me feed him anymore.

Troy has to look at the camera.

Ben's work schedule has been a little different this week. So we got to have him in the afternoon! We played at two parks in one day. Here are my handsome boys. I'm so so so lucky.

I'm pretty someone had the flu at Brock's party and didn't know, because Cohen, Brock, Laura, Abs, and Diana who were all there got it and just got over it. Yucky. Poor boy. I feel for him, and even more I feel for you.
Love you little Troy boy! You're growing big, way to go!
