If it's not obvious, he looks like a chimney sweep compared to his normal self. I almost didn't let him in. I didn't recognize him when I came to the door. Then he smiled and I definitely recognized that.
I asked, "What happened?!" I thought he got in a mud fight, or got mugged, or was in the sun too long... (not really :)He said, "I just did the most demanding physical labor of my life."
Apparently removing shingles off of a roof is pretty hard work. Plus, there were double than normal because instead of getting a new roof, the previous owners topped a second layer on. Ben loved getting to know some new members in the ward, but he was sure tired. But he's still smiling in the picture. That's Ben for you.
