1st Camping Trip with my Fam

Thanks to Devin and Sarah we had our first camping trip as a family (that I can remember) 2 weekends ago. Everyone came (well, Michael is on his mission) but it was awesome! It was so much fun. We did tinfoil dinners that mostly worked. Troy wouldn't eat anything. I think anytime he's away from home he refuses to try new things, because he will always try new dinners at home! He did help eat the smores after. The marshmallows melted together in the car as well as the chocolate. But the chocolate was so much better melted. I'm having it that way everytime now. We also roasted starbursts. We played games after dinner and then went to bed.

Troy slept pretty well but did wake up 3 times. Once we realized he was kind of cold, he slept the rest of the night. In the morning Ben and I got to walk around and talk while Troy was sleeping. I forgot how memorable it is to just walk around nature with your love.

Devin and Sarah had breakfast all prepared for us. Scrambled eggs, bacon, and homemade pancakes by Sarah. It was amazing of course. Breakfast is by far my favorite meal. It's all I ever want.

Ironically we don't have any pictures of the actual camping, but I do have pictures of the hike to donut falls that we took after breakfast! (Half the group had to leave before this, so you won't see everyone.)

Troy was pretty exhausted on the way back.

This needs to be a new tradition because there is so much bonding when you go camping. Thanks again Devin and Sarah for makin it happin!
