My new favorite recipe blog is melskitchencafe. I have loved pretty much everything I have made from her website. I think I've made the stuffed pasta shells three times already. I also saw how easy it was to make granola bars. Win.
I was watching two little girls the other day. I love this new family and hope we can convince them to hang out with us lots. I have to say that Katelyn and their little girl, who is one month older, are practically the same child. I felt like I was watching Katelyn's clone. Then one of the nursery leaders said the exact same thing at church without knowing what I had said. They have "strong" personalities in the cutest way.
Daniel Tiger is possibly my favorite show for the kids. They get so creative and act nice afterwards. Troy thinks he is too old for it, but I turn it on anyway. They decided to be robots one night while daddy was at young mens.
I have loved this double stroller. It is very smooth and as long as I keep the tires pumped up, it pushes pretty easily. I had to take a picture. For a second I thought I was seeing frost on the ground. Haha. No, it's just the dew. Texas has very beautiful moments.
I volunteer at Troy's school once a week for Junior Achievement. This year we are talking about families, neighborhoods, jobs and businesses. I love seeing Troy's class and getting to know all of his classmates. It really helps when we talk about school.
The Sommerfeldt's. We trade off babysitting quite a bit. These kids play so well. They've recently been writing a lot of "books." But I only take pictures when they are all watching a show, sitting still...
We go to play group once a week to different parks. There are a ton of different parks to go to. It's nice that Amy knows them all. Liam insisted on wearing a coat and Katelyn is more often than not, wearing her pink rain boots.
