October has been flying! We finally started our preschool co-op again. I'm pretty excited about this cute little group. We talked about the Tower of Pisa (Liam: no, mom, it's pizza.) We are using Mother Goose Time curriculum with our own add ons. Liam is LOVING it already.
Conference was greatly anticipated and fully enjoyed. Thanks to the young women in our ward who gave us a complete "general conference survival kit" with games, candy, and coloring for the kids. It was a big hit. Especially for Troy.
Troy got to wear sunglasses to school and decided to wear them all day. Even during his piano practicing. I love that he will take from me right now. Especially when we do the duets after he has learned the song.
Katelyn has been really into babies lately. She carries them around on her blankets, puts them in timeout, holds them with an oven mitt because "der hot" and sings them to sleep while playing with their hair. It is like watching mini me. Loving every minute of her cuteness. There is plenty of sour that comes with a two year old with the "I do its" and the "no"s but it is just the cutest age. The way she talks and models.
Family night is quite the adventure. We actually had to stop family night after 5 minutes last week and sent them all to bed because it got so bad. This week was MUCH better and I'm also learning how to present everything better.
I have this wonderful friend, Audrey, who is way fun when it comes to Halloween. I came up with the idea to decorate cookies, and she went all out. She even saved me because we hadn't had dinner and she had soup and mummy dogs waiting for us. The kids had a blast.
Audrey and I.
Ben had a youth activity for "where's waldo." He got a wig from a coworker and clothes from good will. He scared me to death when he approached me when he got home. I genuinely thought someone was in my house. He didn't even think about it. Best youth leader ever.
Liam and Katelyn get restless at the bus stop waiting for Troy. They started to dance and this was the best I got.
Our tramp is one of the best things ever. And it's even better when daddy plays. "I'll clean up, just go take care of the kids." He usually doesn't even change. Haha.
