December 2014 Memories

Santa came to our ward Christmas party. Troy was excited to ask for a remote control car. Liam was excited to get a candy cane, which is actually what he had asked me for Christmas. Katelyn was terrified of Santa, but agreed to go up to him if she got a candy cane. She cried...

but she thought it was worth it! 

The Boyer's invited us to a live manger that is held by a church... I don't remember the details. I couldn't go because I had a practice for the Christmas concert. But the pictures gave me a good idea about the amount of fun they had.

I played in church with the ward choir. 

I also got to play with the Catholic church choir combined with our stake choir. The picture below is in the Catholic church. The building is pretty large. I also accompanied the children's choir and a soloist from our stake who is amazing. She sang Ave Maria and has quite the background in voice. The whole place gave her a standing ovation. It was a really neat concert to be a part of.

A fun thing that our Fire Station does is come around the neighborhoods with all of the fire trucks and their flashing lights. Santa is on the top and throws candy.
