January 2013

We have recovered from the holidays and just hung out in the house for awhile. I literally have not left the house with the boys by myself for two weeks. Partly because it's freezing and partly because I am feeling big.   It hasn't been too hard because we have lots to do, thanks to Christmas presents. One of Troy's favorites is play-doh. The gift was technically for Liam, but everything is shared at this age :)

Troy insists on making Troy, Liam, and Katelyn every time we get the play-doh out.

Liam has kept me busy and the thought of leaving the house with him is very tiring. He keeps me smiling with his innocent love of ice-cream. He brings it to me almost every day, and is equally surprised that he can't have any for breakfast!

I'm 34 weeks tomorrow and we are getting very excited to meet little Katelyn! I seriously got butterflies when I went to the hospital to get a shot last week.

We bought her first baby clothes on Saturday at Macy's. 40% off clearance (items about $5, so about $3 each) made for very cheap and cute clothes. I had to restrain myself. We went to City Creek with my siblings, got lunch and went shopping while my mom watched all of the grandkids. It was so much fun!

Lately, Ben has been busy with his calling, work, and studying for the PE. He makes sure to play with the kiddos. They love to play "airplane" the second he gets home and tires him out within 3 minutes. But he keeps doing it because he loves to make them happy. We have had fun following the 49ers. Ben loves them and we were very excited to be able to actually watch them on Saturday, rather than recorded on Monday. Go 49ers!!
