We have Heidi teaching, Izek is her son that she is next to, the far right is Kaden, then Troy and Liam (who isn't usually a part of the activity), and last of all, Natalie on the left- sweet Natalie who shows the boys how to follow directions. We are missing Brady, who is such a sweetheart and is a little older. He sets a good example.
Troy is presenting his turkey. I still don't know how to get him to smile... but I am so proud of him for not rejecting the camera all together! No, really, I am super excited about that.
Liam used his big eyes and got himself a candy turkey as well. This boy LOVES candy.
Here are some of the other projects that have been done. Letter P - pumpkin, Letter H - halloween, Letter N- necklace, and letter G - goose. I did the pumpkin and goose.
There is a letter assigned each week and then we have a simple outline that is kind of followed - Welcome song, letter introduction, story about the letter, letter tracing, craft, snack, music/play time, goodbye song. Counting, shapes, and social lessons (manners, what to do when you cough, etc.) are integrated. It's fun and I'm a huge fan of this preschool thing. The moms I do this with are so great with the kids, are so patient, and really easy to work with. Yay for preschool group!
YAY! We have a group of 5 kids as well. LOVE IT! Best idea anyone has ever had. They are like sponges and want to learn so much at this age, and this is the perfect way of doing that now. So fun! Glad you have a fun little group to do it with. :)
