Dad and Brayden. This was 2 days before the wedding, so Dad was in town to see the race! It was so fun to have him, Bev, Ryan, Nicole, and Michael around!
Before the Garza's left, we spent a morning with Melissa and Brooklyn and her house.
When we had to leave, Troy was so sad, but Melissa got him to come feed the fishes and cheer up before he left. She is the best example. Plus I get new food ideas every time I see her.
We had a couple from our ward over on Monday and I tried one of the recipes I got at her house. This was before they were marinated and grilled. They were SO good.
Here is the marinade. I took a picture because it's the first time I've used ginger and garlic fresh! I even made rice with fresh cilantro. Another first fresh ingredient for me.
I had my second piano recital. I didn't get to take pictures because it ended up being a lot more hectic because the boys were with me. But, with that said, it turned out well and my students did so well! I am so proud of them when they play at a recital.
