The second phase was for the primary age children and they are the most into it. Everyone really wants to find the easter eggs because they have money in them, along with the candy.
The third phase was the toddlers. Troy actually got really into it. He was so excited to put them in his basket. He eventually stopped carrying his basket and ran to get the eggs and bring them back. Much more efficient :) Every toddler had a sucker in their mouth by the end of the hunt. That's all they really wanted. Troy still asked for one of the Reeses (definitely my son.) He put the whole Reeses in his mouth and then plopped his sucker back in before he had even swallowed. Gross.
After the egg hunts, we watched the younger kids play and we could not stop laughing. Andrew, who is 4 I think, kept trying to instruct the 2 year olds, but it wasn't working. They would look at him and then do the opposite of what he asked, always with a confused look. It was priceless. We forgot our camera, so I am waiting for pictures from family of the event.
I do have pictures ON Easter at our house. Mom Allsop spoiled us rotten. Troy got a few toys that have made him the most popular kid in the neighborhood. Some bubbles, toy cars, and a rocket that shoots.
We got a croquet set. We love it!!! Can't wait to use it. Maybe when the snow melts? (Yes, I woke up to snow this morning, and I was sad. It was beautiful though.)
Liam got a cute duck and baby food. He's not sure about the duck. Ha.
